As we are almost into Christmas Week we felt we all needed a get together to finish this strange year of COVID-19 at St Philip’s. For those that were not on ZOOM or were working all day on ZOOM, most of you will have got a newsletter from Mary Ann last week. It’s not our big Christmas dinner; we just hope you can come along from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday19th December. If you could please bring a plate to share and if you’d like to BYO drink. There will be tea and coffee.
Adam Purcell hopes to be there to have a chat about his book, Music & Friendship: The People of Melbourne Comhaltas and to sign them. Some will already have their book from Thursday night so bring them along
Some have already confirmed they are coming for Saturday. If you are coming Saturday, please RSVP by using this link:
We will be observing COVID-safe restrictions. Bring your mask and your dancing shoes! We will have a few steps or some sean-nos dancing, Christmas songs music and a lot of news to catch up with.
Our Comhaltas Melbourne 50th Anniversary year — it’s like the last race, the rush to the end of the year.
The final Christmas ZOOM and book launch with Adam is this coming Thursday night 17th December. Hope you can all come along on Saturday afternoon.
